Detailed Itinerary


Day 1  Yangon  

Met on arrival and transfer to hotel. Proceed for an Orientation tour in Yangon discovering the Old Yangon mixed in modern culture. Visit to famous Shwedagon Pagoda famous worldwide golden stupa, and observe locals Buddhists come to worship at different corners. Then to historic temples and evening stroll along Pansodan street and Lively China town .  Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2   Yangon – Bagan (By Car & Horse Cart) 

Take flight toBagan a former capital of ancient kingdoms, covered with thousands of temple ruins dating back to the 11th century. Met on arrival and check in hotel. Then proceed for an excursion to some of the most important historic sites and visit  lacquer ware workshops to learn about the laborious process required in it's making and decoration. Evening horse cart tour is provided. Complete your tour with a relaxing panoramic sunset view over from one of the pagoda platforms.

Day 3   Bagan (Ballon over Bagan & Evening Cruise)   

Breakfast at hotel. Pick up from hotel and transfer for  Balloon over Bagan sunrise flight. Enjoy 45 minute flight, A breath taking  scenic view and return back to hotel.  Proceed touring and transfer to jetty in the afternoon to board on private evening cruise to Kyaukgu Umin Temple for looking a cave temple made of sand stone and on the way back and enjoy sun set over the Ayeyarwady River

Day 4  Bagan-Mandalay(Cruising Ayerwaddy with Irrawaddy PrincessII)                                                                                         

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to jetty for 3 days voyage over traditional river cruise along Ayerwaddy river heading to Mandalay.  Embarkation time is 10:30 at Irrawaddy Princess Jetty, Welcome Drink and briefing. the board will sail upstream. In the late afternoon stop in at the typical river Village. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Continue sailing upstream and Moor overnight on board.Overnight on Cruise.

Day 5     River village - Yandabo Village (Cruising Ayerwaddy with Irrawaddy Princess II)                                                  

In the early morning, continuous upstream to Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. After a short excursion, return back on board and continuous upstream and Moor overnight on board.

Day 6     Yandabo Village- Mandalay- Pyin Oo Lwin                                                                           

Early morning continue sailing upstream and arrival to Mandalay. Disembark around 0930AM. Met on arrival and drive to Pyin Oo Lwin. ,  the former colonial Hill station ,home to Nepalis and Indians due to its role as British hill station during the colonial era. On the way, visit Datawkyaik water - fall which gives exciting trekking. Check in hotel upon arrival and start to explore small little town on foot, familiarizing and chatting with local people.

Day  7    Pyin Oo Lwin-Thibaw

Breakfast at hotel. Morning exploration to famous scenic spots and proceed to Thibaw, a former Shan Sawbwa’s palace is located.  Enjoy beautiful landscapes & scenic hills and tribal villages along the way. Check in hotel and overnight.

Day  8     Thibaw( Trek & Boat on Duthtawaddy River)

Breakfast  at  hotel. trek towards to hilly part of route to living style of Shan tribal villages and enroute by boat ( 1 hour) along Duthtawady River to enjoy nice scenery.  Back to hotel in the late afternoon and overnight.

Day 9  Thibaw-  Mandalay

After breakfast, drive back toward Mandalay, passing again world famous Goaktwin, deep valley to descend and colonial town Maymyo.  Back to Mandalay and transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure an overnight at hotel.

Day 10  Mandalay-Mingun-Amarapura-Mandalay

After breakfast at Hotel, pick up from hotel and transfer to pier for boat to Mingun, a pleasant voyage observing the life of  Myanmar river. Excursion to ancient capital Amarapura, old royal city before Mandalay. Tour highlights are Maha-gandayon Monastery (Buddhist University); U Bein Wooden Bridge,over 150 years long woodenbridge and silk weaving industry. Then back to Mandalay and tour to  key sights of Mandalay regarded as the centre of Burmese culture and Buddhist learning and enjoy the sunset view from the Mandalay Hill.

Day 11   Mandalay- Heho- Kakku - Inle

Transfer to airport for Flight to Heho. Met on arrival and drive to Taunggyi. Head for side trip  to Kakku, the most exotic attraction in Taunggyi area, where thousands of ancient temples and pagodas from 16th century is located. It is a historical place for their existance dating back from 2000 years.  Then enroute to Inle Lake,  the second largest natural lake in Myanmar inhabited by Intha people famous for their  unique leg-rowing techniques. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 12   Inle –Nam pan area ( Trekking)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart 7:00 am from hotel and go to Nan pan village by boat. After that walk  to Mann Aung (Pao) village for 45 minutes. At Mann Aung village, you can see many plant of cheroot leaves.  Proceed trek to  Yae cho village of Nepalise National village where you can observe pottery workshops.  Then proceed to Ga Naing Gyi village for one hour walk.  On the way,  you can see cheroot leaf garden and sugar cane plants. Lunch at Ga Naing Gyi village.  The proceed to Ga Naing Pot village  of village located on hill top.  Observe  way of lives in the village and proceed another village across small forest.  One hour later you will reach Kon Lon village of Pa O races. From Kon Lon walk about 30 minutes, you may reach Mann Aung  and return to Nampan or Mangeegone. You boat will be waiting at the village. That one day return trekking trip will be about 5 hours walk.

Day  13  Inle- Indein- Inle

Breakfast at Hotel. Catch the famous colorful floating market scene and proceed for side tour to Inndaing, a historical site famous for thousands of ancient stupas and temples built during 12th and 13th centuries. The panoramic view of the village offers a tranquility and peaceful environment. Then proceed for sightseeing in Inle Lake. After sightseeing back to hotel and over night at hotel.

Day 14   Departure ( Evening departure)                                                                                                                                        

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Yangon.  Met on arrival and if time allowed, you can do last shopping at nearby supermarket or Bogyoke market.  Then transfer to airport for evening departure flight. End of Service
